RGM Pennsylvania Series 801 “Baseball in Enamel” Limited Edition

he American luxury watch manufacturer RGM has presented its new limited edition high end watch for those who love baseball and classic American traditions. This new watch appeared thanks to the inspiration of the founder of RGM Watch Company Roland G. Murphy while his visiting the National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, USA. Murphy was intrigued by the enamel dials and the old pocket watch manufactured by Waltham Watch Co. in 1892. That old pocket watch featured the baseball theme and was issued with a white enamel dial.
Roland G. Murphy decided to create a similar, but modern luxury watch that should correspond to the classic American theme and highlight the favorite sports game of America as well. So, the RGM Watch Company manufactured its Pennsylvania Series 801 “Baseball in Enamel” Limited Edition Watches. The American watchmaker limited the edition of these luxury watches to ten items only, and copied the design of old pocket Waltham Watch Co. watches.

The new RGM Pennsylvania Series 801 “Baseball in Enamel” watch illustrated the baseball players positioned around the watch scale. Each baseball player corresponded to an hour marker of the scale, so the owner has 12 baseball positions on his wrist: starting from player's standing, batting, and ending with a throwing position. The small subdial adorned the white enamel dial of the luxury watch with its fine 60 seconds scale and a blue seconds hand. The “Waltham” banner around the subdial was changed to RGM Watch Co. inscription above the subdial. Fine hour and minute hands were changed to RGM's blued steel Keystone ones thus looking charming on the snow-white enamel dial of the designer watch.
The luxury watch of the RGM Company comes with its original high-quality watch movement. This Caliber 801 is featured as manual winding created in America. This complex movement includes 19 jewels inside, and is performed as rhodium or gold plated. The power reserve of this high end watch is 40-44 hours.
The case and crown of this designer watch are made from polished stainless steel. Sapphire crystal covers the front of this watch and the case back, making the fine watch mechanism of this high end watch visible. The RGM “Baseball in Enamel” luxury watch comes with 43.3 millimeter in diameter and 12.3 millimeters of height.
The RGM Pennsylvania Series 801 “Baseball in Enamel” watch comes with a strap made of brown alligator leather that is stitched. The strap includes a clasp made of gold.
